Concept

Fenice is the title of the fashion film signed by director Giulia Achenza for Momonì, which premiered during Milan Fashion Week to unveil the brand’s new spring summer 2021 collection. An author’s short film that, as the name suggests, aims to celebrate the cyclical nature of life by telling the awakening of a woman, a symbol of a new delicate and precious femininity as well as a metaphor of life itself.
The Fenice fashion film represents the rebirth, the awakening after the darkness we experienced and now illuminated by the light of Venice, the symbol of our wonderful Italy. She is the Phoenix woman from Momonì who, awakening from her torpor, begins a journey of inner purification that brings her closer to the true values of life. The Momonì collection is a true tribute to nature, through its spirituality and its iconic print inspired by mandalas but also, thanks the very nature of all the wonders that surround us, declared Michela Klinz creative director and founder of Momonì.
Fenice bears the signature of Giulia Achenza, born in 1989, winner in 2014 of the Best Italian Fashion Film at the Milan Fashion Film Festival with the short Leakage. The cast also includes Alessandro Ubaldi, as director of photography, the photographer Guglielmo Profeti, the model Maria Vittoria Franzini and four young dancers from the Venice dance school of the choreographer Francesca Siega.
